Shadow of Icarus is a Bristol-based metal band that started when lead guitarist, Josh Lee, and rhythm guitarist and vocalist, Josh Gladwin, each moved to the city from Wales and South Somerset respectively, meeting at the Gryphon on Colston Street.
The project quickly took shape in 2022, with the arrival of Keri Tubb (also at the Gryphon). Shadow of Icarus had secured their bassist.
Work then started in earnest on an album and some gigs. With drummer, Matt Fowler, joining in December 2024, the band was ready to take on the world.
